C3 Named “Company of the Year” in 2011 GoingGreen Global 200 Awards

C3, an energy and emissions management solutions provider, has been named the 2011 GoingGreen Global 200 Company of the Year, by AlwaysOn. The company has been selected from a finalist list of 200 private companies, which included Miovision, that are leading business innovation in green technology.

C3 delivers a new generation of enterprise software solutions that enable organizations to maximize profitability and cash flow by optimizing their energy and resource strategy while minimizing their carbon and environmental footprint. Leading organizations such as Constellation Energy, Dow Chemical, Pacific Gas & Electric, and Siemens are deploying C3 solutions to enable their energy and resource strategy.

The selection committee at AlwaysOn also identified the top 200 private companies from across the globe that are creating high value, high growth businesses by focusing on positive environmental transformation and the application of energy, sustainability, and resource management technologies and processes. Companies were evaluated based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media recognition.
